Support in solving social and household problems;

• Training in the use of technical aids for the visually impaired (white orientation and support canes, clocks, thermometers, talking audio books, magnifying glasses, etc.);
• Computer training (also using Braille row) for the blind, visually impaired and people with other types of disabilities, Braille learning course; home maintenance course, wicker weaving classes;
• Sports activities, i.e. exercise machines, clubbing, board games, table tennis for the blind, darts, etc.;
• Music therapy classes for people with different types of disabilities;
• Opportunity to learn piano for people with disabilities;
• We visit people with disabilities at their place of residence to determine their needs;
• Excursions, celebrating the International White Cane Day, etc. events;
• Informative and educational seminar - "I want to introduce you to my world", "Universal design - accessibility of environment, services, products, information to all people";
• Information publications created by the association - "Gaisma Tumsā" in visible and Braille, as well as in audio format;
• We offer free transportation to participants, and they cannot come to the Day Center by themselves;
• Near the Day Center and also the "Life School" rehabilitation center, where people can stay for 24 hours during the rehabilitation course;
• Lessons for people with disabilities within the framework of various projects (more information in the Projects section of Liepāja Blind Society or by calling 26056026).
