During these months, we saw and learned a lot about Liepāja and its surroundings. We took a look at the Latvian musician alley of fame, we were at the Liepāja's museum exhibition “Liepāja-Rīga-Liepāja”, where we looked at the glass art exhibition, Bernārs Sordé's personal exhibition “Skats Šodienā” and Alise Mediņa and Valērija Baida's joint exhibition “life is a miracle.”

We visited the Folklore Center “Namīns.” During the meeting we listened to a story about Latvian festivities, about folk uniforms and about Latvian birds, solved puzzles and sang. We also learned the origins of the folklore center “Namīns.”

We walked along Roņu Street and the beautiful beach of Liepaja. It was interesting to watch the guidelines embedded in the new Roņu Street pavement. The guidelines drew their attention directly to sighted people who haven't really had such contact with them before. It was nice to watch people with visual impairments tell them what both these guidelines and tactile maps mean to them.

We learned a lot of new things about Liepaja's history from the guide Inta Vanaga. We learned that Liepājas street's, if put end to end, make up 200km, as many as Liepāja to Rīga.

We measured the great tree in the Rose Square (the Manchurian walnut), which has a circumference of about 4 metres, and found out that the signs placed in the circle of the Rozu Square were positioned so that when we stopped at it with our backs, the view forward would be directed towards the town in question. As well as much more.

We also visited the vicinity of Liepāja, and we were in Ziemupe's “Jūras mājā” interest rose in a swordfish that had floated into the Baltic Sea with herring herds.

We examined the map of Ziemupe, which listed the houses and house names there.

We saw lots of old homemade things - wooden skis with homemade wooden ski poles, embroidery, wooden-sole boots, glass buoys made at the once-Līvāni glass factory.
