The following main activities will take a place in the frame of this project during from 1st January in 2011 by 31st July in 2011:

   Learning of experience both of The Royal National Institute of Blind (London) and The Catholic Blind Services (Birmingham) about participation in the development of policy and processes of make decision in order to promote the accessibility of environment and integration of people with diversiform disabilities in the labor market as well as protection of their interests.

   Researching the practice of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, especially in the field of legislation which regulates accessibility of environment accordingly to the principles of Universal Design and employment the people with disabilities. Enumeration of the institutions and organizations as well as researching the operation of these ones; viewing the policy of taxes, finding out problems as well as successfully solutions.

   Development of the suggestions for the employment strategy of years 2011. – 2016. for city of Liepaja as well as development improvement of the policy of taxes and commitment of these ones to both of the National Council of Disability Affairs and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Latvia.

   The informative seminars about the good practice of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, analysis of different cases and information about the project’s results will occurred for members of the Liepaja Society of Blind, volunteers, members of other NGO’s, employees of city of Liepaja administration as well as representatives of press.
